We had so much fun with Jodi McDonald, the wonderful photographer who has taken our recent portfolio shots for us the other week . Have a sneak peak below and also at the beautiful words she says about our team – we LOVE you too Jodi! Again many thanks to Debb from Beauty on the Move for our hair & make up styling. She is gorgeous and does a wonderful job for our Hotels Noosa Weddings. Thanks again girls, we had so much fun!! xoxoxoxo From Jodi’s BLOG – “Had the pleasure of grabbing some new headshots of the lovely ladies from who of course won the award for “Best Independent Wedding Consultants” in Qld this year as voted by brides & grooms in ABIA awards. These are MY favs from the session – these girls love to smile and chat and smile and laugh – so very easy to photograph. Of course when it comes to ‘planning’ there are none more professional or expert in the field than Kim Eibrink Jansen and her team. For all those Brides considering a Hotels Noosa wedding jump over and check the range of services offer – from a 1 hour Consult to ‘On the Day’ right through to ‘Stylisation of your Wedding’ – they do it all.” Posted by Weddings of Hotels Noosa at The team at Events of Hotels Noosa had the pleasure of experiencingthe ultimatein relaxationat Ikatan Spa this week. Nick & Katrina from Ikatan Spa have introduced the Chi Massage Treatment, an amazing experience and beneficial for people who are tired overworked or stressed. Chi Massage Treatment – 90 minutes. Where subtle elemental aromatherapy oils are used to harmonise Chi (energy flow) in this gentle, flowing, restorative massage with foot reflexology and unique techniques to help balance the nervous system and restore energy. “ I discoverd this treatment when I dragged myself into a spa in Sabah. Feeling burnt out, tired and so depleted of energy that I could not enjoy the holiday and there I discovered Chi spa treatments.” says Katrina “usually I like a firm massage (but know this is not the best approach for a body that is depleted of energy as it can make you feel worse) so the receptionist recommended the Chi treatments to help me feel more balanced and I have never had such a transformation in a spa treatment. The Chi Massage Treatment is slow, soothing, and gentle is style but incorporates reflexology, aromatherapy and herbal compress ball to achieve the restorative balance. I loved this treatment so much for its philosophies, techniques and results that I we introduced Chi massage to ikatan in June this year as our clients main requirement for spa treatments seems to be to help with stress and this does.” My personal experience of this amazing treatment ……On arrival to Ikatan todayI was greeted with aglass of bubbly and waslead by my therapist, Amanda, through tropical gardens, timber walkways and pebbled courtyardsinto a gardenpagoda. The sound of water fountains trickling in the background as we walked through. Amanda began my treatnent with a chat about my own mix ofpersonalised oils that they had just blended based around a questionnaire that I had completed on arrival. Then laying in the Ikatan treatment rooms, with adivine lavender eye mask, tranquilmusic with waves lapping the shoreyou would swear that you were overseas in another world – maybeBali, Thailand or Fiji? Looking outside the window all I saw was tropical palms and lushfoliage. Yes I could indeed be in paradise. The time went fast and slow at the same time. The treatment allows a busy persons thoughts to race through your mind then escape as you drift deeper and deeper into another place. I felt like I was on holidays on a tropical island for that 1.5 hours and was taken to another world – one full of relaxation and bliss. All this relaxation made me wish that I could then go down to gorgeous Hotels Noosa Beach and lay in the sun all afternoon. Alas, the office was calling. Maybe next time I go to Ikatan?? I will definitely be going back….. Love and wishes, Kim xooxox Posted by Weddings of Hotels Noosa at Posted by Weddings of Hotels Noosa at Labels: , , Posted by Weddings of Hotels Noosa at Labels: , We thank Jodi from Jodi McDonald Photography for these beautiful photos. In spite of my regular freak outs, constant worrying and unreasonable behaviour, you managed to keep a smile on your face! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We have since said to each other often that we wouldn’t change anything. The ceremony, the photos, the reception, everything was just exactly as we wanted it. From the 8am start, through the hours of hair and make up, to the beautiful ceremony, to our awesome beach photos, to the gorgeous reception and even the dodgy dancing in my by then filthy and sweaty poofa dress – we had so much fun. My octogenarian great auntie Peg said it was the best wedding she has ever been to – and she’s been to a few! My friends all thought it was the classiest and most fun wedding they’d been to. We could tell that all our guests had a great time. We certainly did. It was great for us to just enjoy the day and leave everything tricky in your capable hands. You took care of every little detail and made sure that our wedding day ran like a well oiled machine. Like a CIA agent, you were getting intel on your earpiece and transmitting to your team. It was very impressive to watch. I even felt a little bit Chelsea Clinton with all those people buzzing around with walkie talkies. The long and the short of it is that we had an absolutely wonderful wedding and are thrilled to bits. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. We will definitely extoll your virtues to anyone who asks and even those who do not.

Sunday night, Arkansas fans rejoiced as they learned their hogs would head to Dallas January 6th against Kansas State Wildcats. Dripping Faucet Doesn’t Always Work With Cold Weather ROGERS, Ark. — Local Plumbers Gladesville are sharing tips to prevent pipes from freezing in the cold weather. Brian Elliott, of Farwell Plumbing, said leaving water running isn’t always the key. “That can also cause some issues. What we see is people in older homes, they leave faucets dripping and end up with drains freezing under their home,” Elliott said. Elliott, however, said that if it’s worked before, then just keep doing it. “Most importantly is if you’ve had issues in the past, if you have kitchen faucet that freezes all the time, that’s the one you should leave dripping,” Elliott said. “Check to make sure all your vents are closed on your crawl spaces. Check to make sure you disconnect your backflow preventer for the sprinkler system or any irrigation you may have,” JC Plumbing plumber Clinton Cooksey said. Cooksey said water hoses should be disconnected from any outside hydrants, and always leave the heat on, especially if residents are planning on going out of town. “It varies from house to house. It just has to be above freezing to prevent the water from freezing,” Cooksey said. Experts said always call a licensed professional if pipes freeze.
